There is beauty in every face and every season. I don’t create the beauty, I only capture it. I’ve loved capturing real life moments for over 12 years now. Memphis, TN is where I call home and where I have had the privilege of documenting the many seasons of many families here. From birth to sending one off to college… I’m here for it all!

Hey there! I’m Gretchen. I’m a 9 on the Ennegram and an introvert so this whole “about me” part is not my jam. Let’s talk about you!

Ok, fine… I’m a full-time photographer who’s here to capture your growing family. I myself have a growing family so I know how quickly the years fly by. And I know the tension between wanting your little ones to stay little forever, and being so done with diapers and naps dictating your life. There are a lot of hard things and daily struggles with a family and it’s soooo easy to miss the beauty. I know…I’m guilty of often missing it myself. But let me help you! Documenting these years is so important. I want you to be able to look at your photos, 5 or 10 years from now and still be able to hear your child’s laugh, or honestly even their cries! There’s joy in remembering and there’s beauty in the chaos!

Often times those first days with a newborn go by so fast and on little sleep, but they are so precious. I will come to you and help document those early days.

The Everyday

Families are my jam! I strive to create a stress-free environment for kids and parents to feel comfortable. I love to capture real moments…so even though I will always try to get the “everyone looking at me” picture, my focus is to capture candid moments of sweet and/or silly connection.

This is all about celebration. Let’s celebrate all you’ve accomplished over the last 12(!) years and the beginning of a new chapter. A Senior photo session is a great way to do just that…and it’s also just a lot of fun!
