What I’m about
What attracted me to photography from the very beginning was its power and role in telling stories. I loved to look at a photograph, especially a portrait, and be able to see so much more than a face… there was wisdom, or years of work, or childhood innocence, or disappointment, or love. Portrait photography has always been a love of mine, so especially with your little ones, I will always try to get close and get a good portrait.
I had a camera in hand since high school. I went on to major in Art in college and did my senior project on portraiture and telling stories through photographs. I found my foundation in photography with an old Nikon 35mm film camera and the dark room…something I miss a whole lot (and a reason why I still love a good black and white photo). I met my husband in college and to make the long story short, after 2 years of trying to get him to like me back, he finally did and we got married and moved to Memphis. Memphis has been a home to my family and a home to this business for the past 14 years.
just a few more fun facts…
